Celebrating!

I did it, I am officially a qualified yoga teacher! It was honestly one of the most wonderful journeys and an amazing experience to become a yoga teacher. I started the course last September and as soon as I walked in The House of Yoga studio in Putney, I knew my life would change forever.

I met the most amazing people and we connected on a deep level. We shared stories about ourselves, we laughed, we cried and we manifested our dreams. There were moments along the way when things became hard and the pandemic certainly didn't help.

Some of the sessions had to be delivered online as we went into lockdown. There was a lot of commotion as all of us had plans but also different needs and life circumstances. But my yoga gang pulled through. We were able to graduate in person celebrating our wonderful achievement.

It may seem that a yoga teacher qualification is like any other course but let me tell you, it isn't. I had to look deep into who I was, who I am and who I want to be. I unravelled what was keeping me behind and it became clear to me what I needed to do with my life.

My love for yoga only grew bigger as I started practising the yoga philosophy on and off my mat. Doing what I preach is the greatest gaining from my yoga journey. Being genuine and grounded is how I show my commitment and continuous devotion to improving my life quality.

The most important success I was able to receive from this course is the feeling of belonging. As I shared with my yoga sisters in an emotional last day, all we humans want is to belong. It makes me beyond happy to be able to say I found that during my yoga course.

I am now grateful I belong to this wonderful group of like minded yoga students and teachers and I can't wait to find out what the future holds for all of us. So here's to our achievements, our wins and successes! A big thank you to all that have supported me and continue to do so throughout this journey. Stay tuned for more!

P.S. Next free yoga class coming up next Saturday at 11.15am so please contact me here for the details. Special thanks to The House of Yoga for the pictures (check their website for yoga training and classes).
